It is probably the most spiritually transforming record I've come across since Van Morrison's ASTRAL WEEKS. Two weeks have passed since PIETY first landed in my CD player, and it hasn't yet left. Hell, I'm listening to it right now. Rather than getting tiresome, it only gets better upon repeated listenings—there are nuanced layers of emotional beauty here that reveal themselves over time.
